Infinix Note 5 - Andriod One Smartphone (Overview)

Transsion Holdings owned Infinix has unveiled their first ever Andriod One smartphone Note 5 today in India which was launched in Pakistan previous month.

With Andriod One, the device will be receiving monthly security patch updates along with a minimum of two major Andriod updates. 


It comes with a glossy finish back body and it sports 18:9 display on the front which offers 5.99" FHD+ IPS Panel.

There are two RAM and Internal Storage variants of 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB (expandable upto 128GB via micro SD Card). Powered by Octa-core 16nm MediaTek Helio P23 processor coupled with Mali G71 MP2 GPU. 

There is a single rear Camera of 12MP (f/2.0) with LED Flash and a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter on the front. 

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB OTG, micro USB Port and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a Fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

It is backed by 4500maH Battery which supports 18W fast charging technology. It runs on Andriod 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
It will be available in Milan Black, Berlin Grey and Ice Blue color options.


The 3GB+32GB model costs 9,999 Inr while the 4GB+64GB model costs 11,999 Inr and 25,999 Pkr. The device will be available from August 31st in India and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.
