OPPO R17 Pro - Triple Cameras & In-Display Fingerprint Sensor (Overview)

As we seen in a recent teaser released of the R17's elder brother R17 Pro sporting triple cameras. 
Now OPPO has officially launched the R17 Pro in China. 
The main highlights of the smartphones:
Triple Cams, In-Display FPS and Super VOOC.

The design looks similar to the R17 with an addition of the third camera.

It comes with the gradient finish body with curved edges. It sports 19:9 6.4" FHD+ AMOLED Waterdrop Display with Gorilla Glass 6 Protection on top.

It packs 8GB of RAM with 128GB Internal Storage. Powered by Qualcomm's newly launched 10nm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. 

Coming to the camera section, as mentioned it sports triple cams on its rear panel but unlike the Huawei P20/P20 Pro, OPPO uses two sensors for capturing photos and the third sensor for Time Of Flight (TOF) 3D Sensing. With the TOF sensor, the device can get high-precision 3D depth information for capturing 3D photos. 
On rear, it sports 12MP primary sensor with f/1.5-f/2.4 smart aperture and OIS, and a 20MP(f/2.6) secondary sensor, while the third one is TOF 3D sensor. On the front, there is a 25MP selfie shooter. 

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0.GPS,NFC and a USB Type-C Port. There is an In-Display Fingerprint sensor on the front. 

After introducing the Super VOOC flash charge technology in Find X, the company is using same Super VOOC in this smartpfrhone which can charge from 0-40% in just 10 mins with 10V/5A (50W) charger. It sports 3700maH Battery. 
It runs on Andriod 8.1 Oreo with Color OS 5.2 out of the box. 


It costs 4200 Yuan (approx $630) in China and will go on sale from the start of October.
