Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 - Confirmed to be built on 7nm Process

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 - Confirmed to be built-in 7nm
But this is not going to be the first SoC to be built-on 7nm, as Huawei has already confirmed to unveil the Kirin 980 at the IFA 2018, which will be world's first commercially available 7nm chipset.
Qualcomm will be using the TSMC's 7nm FinFET process technology to built its new Flagship chipset.
Even Huawei also opted for TSMC's node for its Hi-Silicon Kirin 980 Processor.
On the other hand, Qualcomm is adopting 10nm FinFET processor for its midrange offerings like SD 670 and 710.
The SD 855 will come equipped with Snapdragon X50 5G modem making it the world's first 5G-capable mobile processor.
It also confirmed that the samples are already provided for its partner OEMs to use them in developing their next gen flagship smartphones.
We might be seeing the SD 855 powered smartphones during the MWC in FEB 2019 in Barcelona.
