Sony Xperia XZ3 - Launched with OLED HDR Display and Andriod 9 Pie (Overview)

At the IFA 2018, Sony has unveiled the Xperia XZ3.This smartphone is the successor of the previous Xperia XZ2 which was unveiled at the MWC. 
There isn't as much difference in terms of design between the XZ2 and XZ3, however the XZ2 was the first smartphone to launch with SD 845 and now the XZ3 is officially the first smartphone to launch with Andriod 9.0 Pie.

The device is also the first from the company to come with OLED Display. However the device continues to feature shutter button, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.

It comes with 18:9 6" Quad HD+  (2880 x 1440 pixels) OLED Display with HDR Playback support. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on top. 

There is 4GB of RAM and 64GB Internal Storage (which can be expandable upto 512GB via micro SD Card). Powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.

In the camera department, there is single rear camera of 19MP (f/2.0) with 1.22μm pixel size and 5 axis stabilization. It can record 4K Videos and 1080P Slow motion videos at 1080P resolution. While there is a 13MP (f/2.0) selfie camera on the front. 

With this device, Sony is also introducing the new side sense feature that works similar to Edge Sensor on HTC and Google Pixel devices. Moreover, it sports stereo speakers with S-Force Front Surround Technology. It is also IP68 Certified, Water and Dust resistant. 

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C Port.It also supports rear mounted Fingerprint sensor.

It is backed by 3300maH non-removable Battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging. 

It will be available in Black,Silver White, Forest Green and Bordeaux Red color options.

It is priced at £699 (approx $900) and will be available in stock from the start of September.
