Motorola P30 Note - Snapdragon 636 & 5000maH Battery (Overview)

After unveiling the Motorola P30 previous month, now the Lenovo's owned company has unveiled an improved version of the P30 in China which is named as Motorola P30 Note.

The smartphone looks similar to the P30 in terms of design but differ in terms of specifications.

It comes with 19:9 6.2" FHD+ 2.5D Curved Glass Display with Gorilla Glass protection on top. 

There are 4GB and 6GB RAM options with 64GB Internal Storage (which can be expanded upto 256GB via micro SD Card). Powered by 1.8GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. 

There is dual rear camera setup with primary sensor of 16MP (f/1.8)  1.25um  pixel size, OmniVision OV16B sensor and secondary sensor of 5MP (f/2.2) OmniVision OV5675 sensor with dual tone LED Flash. While there is a 12MP (f/2.0)  1.25um selfie camera on the front. 

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz+5GHZ), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone Jack and USB Type-C Port. There is a rear mounted Fingerprint sensor.

It is backed by 5000mAh Battery which supports Fast Charging. It runs on Andriod 8.1 Oreo with ZUI 4.0 skin on top. 

It is available in Mercury Black colour option. 


The 4GB+64GB Model costs CNY 1,999 (approx $292) While the 6GB+64GB Model costs CNY 2,299 (approx $337) in China.
