SAMSUNG Galaxy A7 (2018) Launched in India (Specs,Pricing & Overview)

As the Galaxy Triple camera device was in the rumors kitchen from several days, today SAMSUNG has officially launched its first ever Triple Camera smartphone which is named as SAMSUNG Galaxy A7 in India.

The device comes in Glass Sandwich design with 2.5D curved glass placed on either side of the metal frame.

SPECS:
It sports 18.5:9 6.0" FHD+ (2220 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED Display.

It comes in two variants of 4GB RAM with 64GB Internal Storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB Internal (the storage on both devices can be expandable upto 512GB via micro SD Card). Powered by 2.2GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7885 Processor. The same processor which we saw in the Galaxy A8 devices earlier this year.

Now coming to the main highlight of the device which is the camera section, there is triple rear camera setup with 24MP (f/1.7) low light sensor, 8MP (f/2.4) 120-degree ultra wide angle sensor and a 5MP (f/2.2) Live Focus sensor. While there is a 24MP (f/2.0) Fixed Focus Selfie Camera on the front.Both the front and rear cameras come with LED Flash.

Connectivity options include Cat.6 LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, NFC and micro USB 2.0 Port. Like the Galaxy J6+ the Fingerprint sensor on this device is also placed on the right edge. Although there is no fixed button for Bixby, but the device will be supporting Bixby. 

It is backed by 3300mAh Battery which should support adaptive fast charging. It runs on 8.0 Andriod Oreo with SAMSUNG Experience UI on top.

It comes in Black,Blue,Gold and might be in Pink color options.

Pricing:
SAMSUNG goes aggressive this time and to be honest it impresses with the pricing. As the 4GB Model costs 23,990 Inr (approx $330) while the 6GB Model costs 28,990 Inr (approx $399).
